It has been too long, friends. In an effort to catch up, I’ve made a video. I share my thought on The Handmaid’s Tale, The Testaments, Far From the Tree, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, The Nanny, The Dinner, The Hiding Place and Ask Again, Yes. Watch if you dare.
Make a cup of tea first, though. That sucker is 20 minutes long.
Nice Vlog. I’m a Margaret Atwood fan, but I do agree with your view on The Testament. It did seem rushed and I really wonder about a group that would send a child into such danger to retrieve a microdot. There must be an easier way. That being said, I would read Margaret Atwood writing about her shopping list. I love her writing style.
The only other book on your list that I’ve read was The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night. I liked being able to see things from Chris’s perspective. I always wonder how he made out. Parts of it were just an every day occurrence at my house.

You are sweet for slogging through all 20 minutes of that, Margaret! Curious Incident was a joy from start to finish!
